Second Chance Questions

Q: What are Second Chance Drawings?
A: Registered users can enter their eligible non-winning Scratch-it℠ tickets in Second Chance drawings for a chance to win the last top prize in that game.

Q: How do Second Chance Drawings work?
A: After successfully registering and logging in, you can view every Scratch-it game that is eligible for a Second Chance Drawing and the number of tickets submitted (which determines the odds of winning). To enter the drawings you enter codes printed on your non-winning Scratch-it. Drawings will be held monthly.

Q: Can I purchase Lottery products online?
A: Scratch-it tickets and other Oregon Lottery® products cannot be purchased online. All purchases for lottery products must take place at an authorized lottery retailer.

Q: Why is the Oregon Lottery offering Second Chance Scratch-it Drawings?
A: The Lottery is always looking for ways to engage players and add value to their purchase of Lottery products. With Second Chance drawings, the Lottery is giving players another reason to play Scratch-its and a "second chance" to win. Second Chance Drawings have been offered by the Lottery in the past and this effort is consistent with past promotional efforts.

Problems logging in or submitting entries

Q: What should I do if I encounter a problem on the More Ways To Win web site?
A: Please go to the Contact Us page to let us know what problem you are experiencing. We will assist you via return email. The more details you can provide about your problem, the better chance we will have of quickly resolving the problem.

Q: When I try to submit entries, I get transferred back to the LOGIN page. Why is this happening?
A: Some firewalls or security settings on your PC may prevent you from logging in successfully. For example, your PC setting must be enabled to receive cookies. There have also been occasions where having too many Windows applications open will interfere with the LOGIN. For assistance, use the Contact Us page to let us know what problem you are having and any error messages you are seeing on your PC, and we'll be happy to provide technical assistance.

Q: I tried to submit an entry and got a message that the ticket has already been entered. How can that be if I have the ticket in my hand, and what should I do?
A: As to how it can happen, occasionally a player will inadvertently make a typing mistake when submitting their entry, and won't double-check to make sure the number they entered is the same as the number on their ticket. All tickets will be automatically
verified upon entry to confirm they are valid ticket entries. As to what to do: First, check your list of previously submitted entries at the bottom of the page where you submit your entries to make sure that the ticket has not already been entered by you. If it is not on
your list of entries, use the Contact Us page email to notify us as soon as possible. Please include any ticket number for which you received the "already been entered" message.

Q: I made a typing mistake when I submitted my entry. How do I check for and correct entry errors?
A: All entries that you submit will be automatically verified upon entry. If you make a mistake while typing and enter an invalid entry, you will receive a message stating You are attempting to enter an invalid ticket number. Entry number: XXXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX.
Please check the number on your ticket and try typing it in again. Also, all your entries are kept on a list found at the bottom of the page where you submit your entries. Please verify that the ticket hasn't already been entered by you.

Q: Why are my age and identity verified for this web site?
A: The Lottery is required by law to confirm all applicants are age 18 or older. The information you provide helps us confirm your identity and age. Confirmation may not be possible if you have recently moved or recently reached the age of 18, since databases may take up to three months to be updated.
